Job Title: Facilities Co-Ordinator

Location: Bridgend

Employment Type: Temporary ongoing

Working Hours: Monday - Friday 7am - 3:30pm

Salary: £12.50 - £14 DOE

Candour Talent Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Facilities Co-Ordinator to join our well-established client based in the Bridgend area.

This role presents a unique chance to become a part of a dedicated team within a well-established Aerospace company.

Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for facilities and maintenance for site

  • Co-ordinate building and equipment adds and/or changes approved by the Plant Manager

  • Facilitate all H&S repairs and building maintenance

  • Direct, plan and staff the activities of construction related projects and capital equipment reallocations/additions, working with the Production Planner and Production Manager to ensure minimal impact on personnel and workflow

  • Manage expense capital and operational budget in line with approvals working closely with both Financial Controller & Plant Manager

  • Act as liaison between contractors and H&S department to ensure compliance

  • Follows and enforces all safety procedures according to standards. Is proactive on safety concerns and takes action when appropriate

  • Feed into weekly facilities meetings as well as maintain monthly report on metrics and status of projects

  • Project specific Vendor and contract management

  • Other projects and responsibilities may be added at the company's discretion

Requirements:

  • A degree or diploma in facilities management or a related field would be advantageous.

  • A NEBOSH or IOSH qualification would be advantageous.

  • High attention to detail with ability to multitask.

  • Experience coordinating or managing projects related to facility upgrades, maintenance schedules and compliance is valuable.

  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

  • Ability to work productively and cohesively in a diverse and multicultural environment.
