Job description
Candour Talent Recruitment is currently recruiting for a Maintenance Technician on behalf of a well-established client. This role involves performing routine and preventative maintenance across the facility, ensuring efficient operations of key equipment. The successful candidate will carry out mechanical settings, fault diagnosis, and repair tasks on various systems, with a focus on safety and precision.

Main Responsibilities

• Conduct routine and preventative maintenance, as well as fault diagnosis, on equipment such as the vertical powder paint line, semi-automated packing lines, paint line conveyor, spray guns, and chemical treatment plant systems.
• Perform maintenance on pneumatic, mechanical, and electro-mechanical control systems.
• Adhere to and manage a comprehensive preventative maintenance programme.
• Liaise with internal staff as needed, providing prompt and professional assistance to support facility operations.
• Complete all relevant paperwork accurately and promptly, following internal processes.

Essential Qualifications & Skills

• Previous experience in a similar maintenance technician role within a manufacturing or production environment.
• Proven competence as an electrical technician, with experience in reading machine schematics.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, with a proactive approach to maintenance tasks.

Desirable Qualifications & Skills

• Skills in mechanical fabrication.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Strong communication, organisational, and time-management skills, with the ability to build constructive working relationships with colleagues.
