Job Title: Marketing Manager

Location: Waunarlwydd, Swansea

Employment Type: Full time, part time, permanent

Working Hours: Flexible - 39 hours per week

Salary: £13.50 - £17 per hour

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Marketing Manager for our Swansea based client to take charge of all marketing activities across our e-commerce platforms. This role is ideal for a highly motivated individual who can effectively manage multiple online stores and lead a variety of marketing initiatives. You will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of three Shopify stores and a Wix website, ensuring they are optimally managed, marketed, and continuously improved for performance.

The successful candidate will either undertake tasks internally or manage freelancers to execute a broad range of digital and traditional marketing activities.

Key Responsibilities

E-Commerce & Website Management

  • Oversee and manage three Shopify stores (insulation-more.co.uk, Cwtchy-Covers.co.uk and HSWF.co.uk)* and one Wix website *(hill-grwp.co.uk), ensuring smooth functionality and user experience.
  • Implement updates, promotions, and content improvements to enhance site performance.
  • Monitor analytics and conversion rates to optimize sales.

Marketing & Promotions

  • Develop and execute social media marketing campaigns to increase engagement and drive sales.
  • Plan and manage Google PPC (Pay-Per-Click) advertising to maximize ROI.
  • Implement and improve SEO strategies to boost organic traffic.
  • Coordinate the design, production, and distribution of physical marketing materials (e.g., flyers, brochures, business cards).
  • Oversee and execute email marketing campaigns using a CRM system to nurture leads and retain customers.

Team & Freelancer Management

  • Manage freelancers and external agencies where necessary for specialist tasks such as SEO, design, and advertising.
  • Ensure that all marketing activities align with company goals and budget.
  • Track and report on campaign performance, making data-driven decisions for improvements.

What We're Looking For

✅ Proven experience in e-commerce marketing (Shopify/Wix experience preferred).
✅ Strong knowledge of Google Ads, SEO, social media marketing, and email marketing.
✅ Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
✅ Experience managing freelancers or agencies.
✅ Creative mindset with strong analytical skills.
✅ Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
