Key Account Manager / Production Planner

Monday to Thursday 7:30am - 4:00pm / Friday 7:30am - 2:30pm

Candour Talent Recruitment is excited to be recruiting for a Key Account Manager / Production Planner to join a well-established engineering and manufacturing company in Gwent/Monmouthshire. This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual with a strong engineering background, CNC machining experience, and a passion for production planning and account management.

Role Overview

In this role, you will be responsible for planning production schedules for a team of CNC Machinists while liaising directly with customers to ensure their requirements are met on time and in full. You'll play a crucial part in maintaining efficiency, quality, and continuous improvement across the production team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan production schedules for CNC machining teams to ensure efficiency and smooth workflow.
• Estimate production process times to aid planning and scheduling.
• Liaise with customers daily, ensuring their requirements are fulfilled and maintaining strong relationships.
• Maximise efficiency across the production team, optimising workflow and resource allocation.
• Implement continuous improvement strategies to enhance production processes.
• Ensure that quality standards and technical specifications are met.

Key Skills & Experience Required:

Engineering background - experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
CNC Machining experience - knowledge of machining processes and capabilities.
Production planning experience - ability to plan and schedule workloads effectively.
Customer service / account management - confident in liaising with customers, managing expectations, and delivering excellent service.
