Job description

Job Title: Sales and Transport Administrator

Location: Aberdare

Employment Type: [Full-time/ Permanent]

Salary: £23,000

Hours: Monday - Friday 9AM-4PM

Candour Talent Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Sales and Transport Administrator to join our well-established client based in the Aberdare area.

This role presents a unique chance to become a part of a dedicated team within a well-established company.

Responsibilities

  • Answering telephone calls
  • Taking customer orders & processing on Sage system (Sage 50 accounts)
  • Making contact with customers on telephone to obtain orders
  • Process despatch notes for customer orders
  • Arranging delivery of customer orders with Hauliers
  • Deal with transport related queries
  • Create Purchase orders with suppliers
  • Retrieval of POD's & despatch notes for invoicing.
  • Monitoring stock levels in warehouses on a daily basis & month end
  • Arrange transport for incoming stock to UK warehouses
  • Booking in stock on Sage 50 accounts system
  • Other general admin tasks as required.

  • Administration & Organisational skills
  • Ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines
  • Excellent attention to detail when working under pressure
  • Cheerful manner when dealing with Customers/suppliers & colleagues
  • Ability to work in a small team
  • Experience of arranging transport would be an advantage
  • Knowledge of stock control preferable
  • Excellent IT skills
