Candour Talent Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Supervisorto join our well-established client based in the Oakdale, Croespenmaen area.
This role presents a unique chance to become a part of a dedicated team within a well-established company.
Job Description:
A high level of concentration to ensure consistency and fault monitoring.
If required, machines could be operated on a semi-automatic basis.
Being in charge of a shift and physically the sole person(s) in charge of the factory during back shifts (phone support available).
Liaising with the previous supervisor and understand the status of the factory floor prior to starting the shift.
Leading the production environment by allocating labour, materials, packaging etc. controlling production changeovers (i.e. labels/ colours/ versions).
Being a point of contact for operators to approach to resolve an initial concern i.e. issues with parts or general concerns on the shop floor.
Carrying out minor adjustments/ fault finding with telephone support on injection moulding machines, robots, chillers etc.
Coordinating break times and schedule machine stops accordingly to cover these when needed.
The overall shift accountability and is also responsible for ensuring a report is documented and communicated to the next shift.
