Job Description:

A position has become available within the Manufacturing Team for an all-round warehouse operative to join a well-established manufacturing company with great incentives and perks.

Key Responsibilities:

KEY COMMUNICATION STRATEGIES:

· Participate regularly in meetings and discussions. This shows initiative and grows team unity.

· Ask questions to fully understand what is being requested of you. Fully understanding tasks at the outset is efficient.

· Collaborate well with other departments - teamwork is essential to LWS's success. Applications crosses functions with Sales, Engineering, Purchasing and Production to get things done.

· Communicate well with colleagues and peers to learn from them. Use the company QMS and documentation to understand LWS processes and apply them.

Adaptability, speed, and Iteration:

· Embrace change and be ready to iterate ways of working based on feedback from customers, stakeholders, or team members.

· Rapidly evaluate and improve process, design, results based on the evolving needs of the market and company goals.

· Deliver incremental improvements to LWS Applications Engineering in response to changing requirements and feedback.

Customer Focus:

· Our Customers are key to our future success. We need to make Customer based decisions to be effective. To do that we need to invest time in understanding Customer products and requirements. We encourage our technicians to appreciate the scope of their work tasks for better informed decision making.

Role:

OVERVIEW:

As Temporary Applications Operative the job will entail processing wire to complete orders. Dexterity, and attention to detail are required.

Responsibilities and skills:

· Working on entry-level sample assessments with guidance

· Learning to operate and maintain laboratory equipment under supervision

· Gaining proficiency in basic laboratory techniques and protocols

· Ability to follow safety procedures and regulations in the laboratory environment

· Show initiative, attention to detail and accuracy in conducting assigned tasks & responsibilities

· Delivers high-quality work within a specified scope or standard.

· Takes ownership of tasks & demonstrate problem-solving skills.

· Working at a behavioural level as per the LWS Charter.

· Completes work to deadlines whenever possible or provides forewarning of issues preventing completion.
