Candour Talent is seeking an experienced Delivery Driver for a reputable client located in the Aberdare area.

Working Hours:

• Monday to friday: 06:00 AM - 6:00 PM (flexibility required)
• Minimum 2 Overnight Stays a week: Depending on delivery schedules

Compensation:

• Pay Rate: £12.50 per hour
• Overnight Allowance: £15 per night for overnight stays

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely and efficiently operate a delivery van to transport goods to various customers.
• Load and unload packages and products, ensuring safe handling to prevent damage.
• Plan and follow the most efficient routes using GPS and navigation tools for timely deliveries.
• Maintain clear communication with customers regarding delivery schedules, changes, and special requests.
• Complete necessary paperwork and documentation for each delivery, including invoices and delivery notes.
• Ensure the delivery vehicle is kept clean and well-maintained at all times.
• Follow all health and safety regulations while on the road.
• Deliver products across the UK, potentially covering long distances.

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

• Clean full UK driving license (Category B).
• Previous experience as a delivery driver, with a solid understanding of UK road regulations.
• Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with customers.
• Ability to lift and handle heavy packages safely.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing delivery schedules and routes.
