Hours: Three shift rotation 6am-2pm, 10pm-6am & 2pm-10pm

Candour Talent Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Technician to join our well-established client based in the Mountain Ash area.

Job Description:

Our client is a global leader in the supply of injection mouldings and assemblies for the Automotive, Consumer, Data Centre, and Medical markets currently has a vacancy for a Maintenance Technician at their Mountain Ash facility. The successful candidate will be required to work shifts (currently a 3-shift pattern Monday to Friday).

Key Accountabilities:

• Demonstrate effective technical skills to support manufacturing operations.
• Operate in accordance with Health and Safety regulations, departmental procedures, company policy, and GMP.
• Work as part of a team to ensure targets for delivery, quality, and efficiency are met.
• Implement planned and preventative maintenance schedules.
• Communicate problems and issues which impact manufacturing schedules or maintenance plans.
• Identify and implement process improvement opportunities.

Essential:

• HNC or equivalent in an electrical or mechanical engineering discipline.
• Experience in fault finding and repairing hydraulic systems and components.
• Experience working with pneumatic systems.
• Experience in carrying out electrical fault finding, repairs, and installation work.
• Experience with fault finding on PLC-controlled systems, sensors, and switches.
• Experience in facilities maintenance and routine checks, including fire system tests.
• Experience in computer systems within a production environment.
• Ability to use drawings, manuals, and circuit diagrams appropriately.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

Ideally:

• Experience monitoring cooling tower systems to comply with L8 Legionella controls.
• Self-motivated and a team player.
• Ability to work under pressure.
• Experience working on injection moulding machines and associated ancillary equipment is highly advantageous.
