Candour Talent Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Press Brake Operator to join our well-established client based in the Pontypool area.

This role presents a unique chance to become a part of a dedicated team within a well-established company.

Are you an experienced Brake Press Operator looking for a new opportunity? We are seeking a skilled individual to join our metal fabrication team, operating and setting up brake press machines and other processing equipment to produce products to engineering specifications.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and set up CNC brake press machines and other metal processing equipment.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings to ensure precise fabrication.
• Follow health & safety policies, maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
• Work within lean manufacturing principles, including 5S standards.
• Conduct quality control inspections to ensure all products meet required specifications.
• Maintain accurate production records and documentation.
• Wear appropriate PPE and adhere to company safety policies.

Skills & Experience Required

• Experience in setting and operating brake press machines.
• Ability to read and work from engineering drawings.
• Understanding of lean manufacturing and 5S principles.
• Strong numerical skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
