Candour Talent Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Production Operators to join our well-established client based in the Blaenavon area.

Job Description:

Production Support

Operate and monitor machinery and equipment used in the production process, ensuring consistent quality and efficiency.
Perform assembly, packaging, and labeling tasks according to production requirements and specifications.
Assist in the setup and changeover of production lines, including adjusting settings and preparing materials.

Heavy Lifting

Regularly handle and lift materials, products, and equipment weighing up to 25kg.
Safely move and stack products in designated areas within the production and warehouse environments.
Utilize proper lifting techniques and equipment to minimize the risk of injury.

Quality Control:

Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards, reporting any defects or issues to supervisors.
Maintain a clean and organized workspace to prevent contamination and ensure a safe working environment.

General Warehouse Duties

Assist in receiving, storing, and organizing raw materials, components, and finished products in the warehouse.
Perform inventory checks, including counting and recording stock levels.
Prepare orders for shipment, including picking, packing, and labeling items for dispatch.

Health & Safety Compliance

Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
Report any safety hazards, equipment malfunctions, or accidents to the production supervisor immediately.

Team Collaboration

Work effectively as part of the production team to meet daily targets and production goals.
Communicate clearly with colleagues and supervisors to ensure smooth production operations.

Experience

Previous experience in a production or warehouse environment is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
Ability to handle physical tasks, including lifting up to 25kg regularly.

This role is well-suited for individuals who are physically fit, detail-oriented, and capable of working in a fast-paced production environment. The position involves a combination of production tasks and general warehouse duties, requiring flexibility and a strong work ethic.
