Job Title: Quality Administrator
Location: Cardff
Employment Type: Permanent
Working Hours: 7:30 - 4pm Monday to Thursday, and 7:30 - 2 pm on a Friday
Salary: £27,000

Candour Talent Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Quality Administrator to join a well-established client.

This role presents an exciting opportunity to be part of a dedicated team in a dynamic Manufacturing environment.

Job Purpose:

  • Ensure production standards are met and maintained for products before they leave the site.
  • Maintain Quality Management Systems, including document control, review, creation of documents, work instructions, dashboards, and other quality administrative tasks.

Reporting To:

Directly reporting to the Quality Manager.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Comply with all standards, internal policies, and legal regulations.
  • Perform in-process quality inspections and audits.
  • Identify and report non-conformities.
  • Ensure compliance with ISO 9001, 14001, and 45001 standards.
  • Manage the waste management system and liaise with external providers.
  • Control and calibrate measuring equipment.
  • Assist in maintaining the non-conformance system.
  • Assist with the maintenance of the customer complaints system.
  • Assist in maintaining the Quality Management Systems, including:
    • Document control.
    • Keeping quality dashboards up to date.
    • Updating quality documentation.
    • Creating and updating standard operating procedures as required.
  • Provide training on quality procedures when needed.
  • Keep training records up to date and maintain a training matrix for all departments.
  • Participate in improvement projects.
  • Support the Quality Manager in preparation for internal and external audits.
  • Assist with day-to-day quality issues.
  • Ensure product compliance with required standards.
  • Provide holiday/sickness cover for quality controllers.

Key Skills:

  • Strong attention to detail.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Proven experience in a similar role.
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Understanding of technical drawings (desirable).
  • Familiarity with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 standards.
  • Computer literate, with experience using Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Experience using manual measuring equipment such as vernier calipers and micrometers.
