Candour Talent Recruitment is looking for an experienced Welder (MIG & TIG) to join a well-established and industry-leading engineering and manufacturing company based in Swansea. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a highly skilled team working in stainless steel and alloy fabrication across a variety of sectors, including nuclear, pharmaceutical, aerospace, food, and chemical industries.

Role Overview:

As a Welder, you will be responsible for precision MIG & TIG welding within a workshop-based environment, working on high-quality stainless steel and alloy fabrications. The role involves working on bespoke engineering projects, ensuring top-level quality, precision, and compliance with client specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

- Perform MIG & TIG welding on stainless steel and alloy components.
- Read and interpret technical drawings to produce high-precision welds.
- Carry out fabrication, assembly, and finishing of welded components.
- Work to strict quality standards, ensuring compliance with industry regulations.
- Conduct visual inspections of welds and ensure high-quality finishing.
- Collaborate with the fabrication and engineering teams to ensure project completion.
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment, following all health and safety procedures.

Key Skills & Experience Required:

- MIG & TIG welding experience - essential.
- Background in stainless steel and alloy fabrication - highly desirable.
- Ability to read and work from technical engineering drawings.
- Experience in precision welding and fabrication techniques.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Health & safety awareness and understanding of workshop safety regulations.
