Salary: £12.67 an hour

Candour Talent Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Recycling Operative to join our well-established client based in the Ebbw Vale area.

Job Description:

The Recycling Operative will be responsible for assisting with banking vehicles, working on a picking belt, and maintaining general housekeeping duties to ensure a clean, safe, and efficient working environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Banking Vehicles: Safely guide and assist vehicles in and around the work area to ensure smooth and secure operations.
• Picking Belt Work: Operate on the picking belt to sort materials, ensuring proper handling and efficiency.
• Housekeeping: Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the work space, including regular cleaning tasks to ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
• Safety Compliance: Follow all health and safety guidelines, ensuring that all work is performed in a secure and safe manner.

Skills and Requirements:

• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
• Experience in manual labour or related field is preferred.
• Good communication skills and a proactive attitude towards safety.

Work Environment:

• Fast-paced environment, requiring physical effort and attention to detail.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing tasks throughout the shift.
