Job description

We are currently recruiting a Sales Administrator for a local business in the Oakdale area.

This is an office based vacancy and the successful candidate should specifically have customer service/administrator experience.

Hours:

  • Monday to Friday.
  • Office start times are 8:30am-5pm/8:30-4:30pm (Fri)

Main Objectives:

  • Assist the sales team with administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and document preparation
  • Manage and update customer databases with accurate contact information and sales activity
  • Respond to customer inquiries and provide excellent customer service
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure timely delivery of products or services
  • Assist in the preparation of sales orders and contracts
  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the warehouse team to fulfil customer orders
  • Managing incoming telephone calls and responding to emails promptly.

Experience:

  • - Proven experience as a Sales Administrator or in a similar administrative role
  • - Proficient in software applications such as Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc )
  • - Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
  • - Strong organizational and time management abilities
  • - Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail
  • - Knowledge of administrative procedures and office management systems
  • - Trained in Sage software would be advantageous
  • - Trained in invoices would be advantageous
