Commercial Roof Cleaning and Maintenance Operative

Location: Mobile role (covering multiple commercial sites throughout Midlands)
Department: Facility Management

Overview:
Are you experienced in cleaning at height?
We're looking for a hardworking individual to join our team as a Commercial Roof Cleaning and Maintenance Technician. This role involves cleaning and maintaining commercial roof gutter systems and other external surfaces across our client sites. It's perfect for someone with a background in commercial window cleaning, high-level pressure washing, or gutter cleaning who is confident working at height and values health and safety.

What You'll Do:

Clean and maintain commercial roof gutter systems and external surfaces.
Identify and report any defects or issues to supervisors.
Ensure all tools and equipment are in good condition and ready for use.
Follow planned schedules to complete jobs on time and to high standards.
Operate safely, adhering to all health and safety policies, including working at height.
Complete all necessary paperwork and log completed work accurately.
Respond to reactive maintenance tasks and emergencies as required.
Use equipment such as MEWPs (Mobile Elevating Work Platforms) for safe working at height.

What We're Looking For:

Experience in commercial cleaning at height, such as window cleaning, gutter cleaning, or high-pressure washing.
A clean driving license.
Confidence working safely at height, with knowledge of health and safety procedures.
IPAF certification (desirable) and SSSTS/SMSTS (desirable).
Good communication skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
