Product Manager (Hybrid / Monmouthshire)

This is an exciting opportunity to take ownership of new product development (NPD), market research, and product lifecycle management for a leading organisation in the building materials sector.

The successful candidate will play a key role in identifying and driving product opportunities, ensuring compliance with industry regulations, and delivering profitable product launches in alignment with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and implement new product development (NPD) and product lifecycle changes using the company's Stage Gate process.
• Oversee product launches in collaboration with R&D, Marketing, Supply Chain, and Sales teams.
• Conduct qualitative and quantitative market research to identify trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes.
• Monitor and analyse existing product performance, ensuring profitability, ROI, and market positioning.
• Create business cases, product specifications, and decision-making reports for new and existing products.
• Work with Sales and Marketing to forecast sales potential for new products.
• Implement and manage product pricing strategies and sales tools to support commercial teams.
• Manage engineering change processes and ensure effective communication across departments.
• Support cross-business unit collaborations to develop joint product offerings.
• Ensure compliance with UK Building Regulations and maintain knowledge of competitor products and market segmentation.

Key Skills & Experience:

- Experience in product management within a manufacturing or engineering environment.
- Strong background in NPD, pricing analysis, and product lifecycle management.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings and communicate technical concepts effectively.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint) for financial and business analysis.
- Strong market research and analytical skills, with the ability to identify business opportunities.
- Knowledge of UK Building Regulations and the aluminium building systems market is highly desirable.
- Proven track record of delivering products to market on time and on budget.
Ability to engage with cross-functional teams and present to senior stakeholders.
